Organizational Snapshot:

The Ministry of Welfare Services conceived and launched Majlis Pemulihan Malaysia in 1973 in order to coordinate the work of voluntary disability organizations throughout the country and encourage the full and equal participation of people with disabilities in Malaysia. Majlis Pemulihan Malaysia not only develops and promotes performing arts and music for people with disabilities, but also provides a platform from which people with disabilities can interact and network. Offering workshops and training in traditional dance, drumming, music, and handicrafts, the Majlis Pemulihan Malaysia serves children, youth, and adults.
