2007 Start with the Arts Family Festival

The 2007 Start with the Arts Family Festival was a dynamic, month long celebration of the arts. Showcasing the power of children’s imaginations and the importance of the arts in education, the festival featured numerous art activities, a Celebrity book reading, and live performances at Union Station, in city parks and at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

The Festival is named after the VSA arts signature educational resource Start with the Arts©. For 20 years, Start with the Arts© has given school teachers and parents the tools to integrate the arts into early childhood learning.
