Disability Employment Awareness Month

VSA arts joined Merrill Lynch in celebrating Disability Employment Awareness Month. The event, held in New York City, was focused on the theme of “Celebrating the Abilities and Potential of All People.” VSA arts provided the artwork, showcasing a selection of works from the exhibit, Transformation. In attendance were visual artist Candice Bustillos and musician Tony DeBlois, recipient of the 1999 VSA arts Young Soloists Award. Soula Antoniou, VSA arts President, delivered the keynote address.
